Aditya Dev Sharma - Biography
Aditya Dev Sharma portrays a series on feelings and relations having contour of men and women. The sentimental affection, which weaves emotions in human beings for difficult moments, epitomizes in his figurative and abstract forms. The self-taught artist sketches his characters in such a whimsical position looking perfectly mingled with each other and it emerges an array of thoughts putting a new dress-up around the characters. His infinite permutations of images bring forth a unheard sequences of emotions and delight.

Ajay Deshpande -Biography Ajay Deshpande’s subjects look like they are emerging out of a varied hue of colours in the background which has a character of its own. His ‘Musicians’ playing in a rustic background captures their emotions which is somewhat in contrast to the bright colours in the background. They seem nonchalant while playing their instruments which are in stark contrast to the bright backgrounds. “I’ve concentrated on the ambience and the different shades of moods of a folk artist performing in a rural landscape. To bring out the harmony, I’ve made a controlled use of colours”.

Aji Adoor - Biography Aji is an artist, based in Bangalore, who uses his work to campaign against atrocities to nature and society. His series of paintings on buildings try to portray the mass urbanization that’s taking place currently in India. His paintings are a form of protest, that shows green pastures being turned into concrete jungle. It is also metaphorical of the unbalanced development of India, where the rich uses its might to exploit the poor. Aji has a masters in fine arts from Chamarajedra Academy of Visual Arts, Mysore, Karnataka. He also has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the Fine Arts College Trivandrum, Kerala.

Arvind Kolapkar - Biography Arvind’s paintings look like they are set in a mystic celestial background. His subjects mainly female forms remind one of the celestial nymphs of greek mythology, with their demure and seductive movements frozen in time. Arvind is a professor of art in Pune and has earned numerous awards.

Asma Menon - Biography Asma Menon incorporates in her art the most diverse features fusing them in a powerful visual result. From primitive almost pre-symbolic repetitive strokes to highly sophisticated mythological quotations. Trees, animals, as well as human and divine figures appear fluctuate and melt in her images creating a unique solution that unites the past with the present with no apparent contrast. Asma Menon was awarded the Vijay Rattan Award for contribution as an Artist to Society.
