Asma Menon - Biography
Asma Menon incorporates in her art the most diverse features fusing them in a powerful visual result. From primitive almost pre-symbolic repetitive strokes to highly sophisticated mythological quotations. Trees, animals, as well as human and divine figures appear fluctuate and melt in her images creating a unique solution that unites the past with the present with no apparent contrast. Asma Menon was awarded the Vijay Rattan Award for contribution as an Artist to Society.

R.B Bhaskaran - Biography RB Bhaskaran has been an international jury member at the Florence Biannale, Italy since 2005. He needs no introduction having been the principal of the Government Arts College, Chennai and the Chairman of the Lalit Kala Academi, New Delhi. Bhaskaran is a humble but a commanding personality. His passion for studying cats, their movements, the way they lie down has been beautifully brought out in his works. The other series he likes doing is ‘The Couples’. Bhaskaran unlike many artists who repeat their successful styles, like to experiment with new ideas, like his ‘Still life’ series which now has fish in flower vases, complementing the leaves.
